Not sure what to say?

I was a patient of Clida @the age of 12. She so heavily influenced my life that here at the age of 32 I decided to google her name. Here I will leave praises for the first woman to see me and help me grow. A greatly appreciated encounter. My condolences to the family.

I would like to extend my deepest sympathy. I remember watching Mrs. Clida on The Cooking Channels episode of My Grandmother's Ravioli. I was truly inspired all the way in Florida. I've enjoyed making the dishes from that episode. An amazing person, beautiful all the way around. My deepest condolences.

My condolences to Clida's wonderful family. Climate and I worked together on several committees at Gesu Church. She was one of the "Mothers" of the church. Climate was a wonderful, sweet, intelligent , and loving person. I will miss hearing her say "Hello Sandra Battle " when I called her to discuss Church matters. There will never be another Clida!

Clida and I worked on many a project together over the years at Gesu Parish. one of my most precious memories is of when I lost my son, and Clida showed up at my door with the largest, most delicious pan of scrumptious seafood that I have ever seen! I love her dearly!

Our sincere condolences goes out to the family. When I saw that big pot of gumbo, I knew Ms Clida had to have roots in the South. The family look so familiar. I have many friends that originated from Cane River!! Metoyers, Darbones, Delphins, and so many more. Many of them are in Lake Charles, LA. God Bless you all. I know Ms Clida was a precious woman of God and an excellent cook!!

To the Ellison Family
My deepest sympathy to you all for the loss of your Mother.

I met Clida Ellison when she was a social work student at the Clinic where she remained 20 years. As her field instructor I knew she was passionate and eager to help a child. I left and Clida never wavered in serving children. May she Rest in Heavenly peace.

I did not know Mrs. Ellison but had the pleasure of seeing her on the My Grandmother's Ravioli several years ago. I thought she was the most charming of the "grandmothers" and was so impressed with her love of husband, family and her strength. I still remember some of her comments.

My deepest sympathy and prayers to the family.Your grandmother Mrs Cora use to always make sandwiches when my brother and my dad would visit her and Mr Boo. Beautiful memories. My love to you all.
