Danial Jackson "Dan" Cassady, Jr.

Memorial services for Danial Jackson ?Dan? Cassady, Jr., 69 of Tyler, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 26, 2013 in the chapel of Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home with Elder Kelvin Dupreez officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to service in the chapel.
Dan passed away on Friday, January 18, 2013 in Tyler. He was born June 2, 1943 in Camp Cook, Cal. to the late Danial Jackson Cassady, Sr. and Beulah Mae Lindamood. He received his Associates degree, and then served in the U.S. Army. He worked in the oilfield service Industry as a mud logger and a geological consultant. He was a member of the Myrtle Grove Masonic Lodge # 352 in Pensacola, Fla. and was a Christian. He was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Clyde Cassady.
Survivors include his three sons and daughters-in-law, David and Debra Cassady of Whitehouse, Danny and Jennifer Cassady of Ponder and Dustin and Velvet Cassady of Jacksonville; a daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Mark Thurston of Virginia; a sister, Esther Ellien Hinote of Hewitt; 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
