We have been going to the Train Station for 19 years now. We started bringing our son there since he was 3 years old and he is now 22. Through the years , Dave has aways been such a help and always entertained our son when he was younger whenever we would drop by. Dave would always turn the trains on for him and show him all the different lighted items he added to the tracks. God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.Have been coming to the Train Station since the 70´s at the mt lakes station with his dad Don.Will always remember the help Don gave & then Dave.my family always talk about visits to the shop & the help given to expand my collection.

David Shaw was the go to guy for all things Lionel. His knowledge was deep, his patience was endless and the willingness to help with my issues meant so much to me. I will miss his smile, voice and warm friendship. I could message him in the evening.....the next day he would call ready to help. Dave was one in a million will be missed.

I am so sorry to hear about Dave's passing. Dave was a remarkable man and had a remarkable family. It is clear that he left this world a better place. I have fond memories making our annual pilgrimage to The Train Station every Christmas Eve with my family. It was a highlite of the holiday season and an annual tradition that I had with my father, grandfather and then my children each year. It is truly a magical place. I cherish those memories as well as the warmth that the entire Shaw family...
