Not sure what to say?

I can't believe that it has been 9 years since Dave's passing. I still think about Dave when I drive past the house. Last night I did and remembered our conversation out at your driveway about the man who had passed away across the street at that time and all the junk he had left on his property that he had wanted to fix. That conversation was still so vivid in my mind. But it's Dave's friendship, integrity and strong character that will always be remembered. We lost a remarkable human being...

I will always remember Dave Jarvie as being a most genuine teacher, coach, family man, conservationist, human being that I have ever met. He truly was a man of integrity! I always enjoyed talking to him, whether it was about tennis, our families, or an East Pikeland meeting concerning the building of the new school. The world lost an incredible person the day we lost Dave. Though the days and years move on, our family will never forget him.

Mr. Jarvie was truly a profound educator, who taught his students about stewardship for the earth and all its peoples. He touched many lives and for that, I say thank you.

To the Jarvie Family,
Your husband and Dad touched so many lives. I have read the memories of him in his early career and I can account for what a class act he was while working with him at Cabrini College. He was so appreciative of the work we did for him and always stopped in to say "Thank you". We had many conversations where he told me about his family and asked about mine. He truly was a gentle man who touched the lives of many with his quiet, genuine way. Take comfort in knowing...

Louise,

Please accept my deepest sympathy.

Im very sorry for your loss. Mr. Jarvie was my coach for JV tennis at phoenixville. He was so patient. He strung all my equipment all through high school. I will remember him fondly.

Mr. Jarvie was a true gentleman and educator. My condolences to his family. Please know he touched many, many lives while at OJR and I will be eternally grateful our paths crossed.

The passing of your loved one is truly a sad and difficult time. Being the across the street neighbor, I am in awe of what a great family man Dave was. All of you were together, spending every precious moment with him. He has instilled in all of you, the true meaning of family. The memory of him in your lives, will be passed on to your children I'm sure.
