I am saddened by the news of Dennis' passing.
In 1965-66, I was the freshman rookie member of Mr. Thornton's Publicity Office. Dennis quickly showed his humor, his wry outlook on the events happening around us and his genuine good nature. In addition, Dennis was also one of the most talented people I've known.
Dennis was a winner in every way.

We held fond memories in the sports information department with Charley Thornton during the golden years of 1964 and 1965 with Coach Bryant, Joe Namath and a host of great people.
