Doris Davies

Doris “Jean” Davies, 86, of Mercerville passed away Tuesday at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton. Born in Williamsport, PA, Mrs. Davies was a Hamilton Township resident since 1962. She was a Registered Nurse and Personnel Coordinator in Trenton and also an avid reader. Mrs. Davies was a member, organist, Sunday School Teacher and church choir member of Faith Baptist Church for many years. Mother of the late Kathleen D. Fort, wife of the late Tommy R. Davies and sister of the late Dale Hoff, she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and David Pittman of Hamilton Township; her son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Carol Davies of Hamilton; her sister-in-law, Dorothy Hoff of Kingston, PA; five grandchildren, David, Andrew, Amy and Nathan Pittman and Jennifer Fort and two step-grandchildren, Donna and Matt Guidotti. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Friday at the Saul Memorial Home, 1740 Greenwood Avenue, Trenton with the Pastors Dr. Ted Martens and Lance Walker co-officiating. Interment will be private. Family and Friends may call Friday 9:30 a.m. until time of service at the Memorial Home.
