Not sure what to say?

Dr. Gus was my cleft doctor and braces at slucade from 2011-2014 when he had to leave. I was 11- 14 years old. He had passed a year to the day after my final surgery. Now i am 23. He was one of the best doctors that I ever had. We would drive from 2 1/2hours away to do my braces at cade at it was always good to see him and when I had my Cardinal Glennon appointments. He will forever be remembered by my family.

I can’t believe time has passed by so fast.
Dr Gus’s teachings are always with me. I can still hear his voice guiding me, not only in Orthodontics, but in life. I keep a picture of him my friends and me taken during a conference, on my private office’s desk. For good luck and reassurance. And to remind me to honor him with my work. Thank you always

My beloved professor, youre living through your teachings, which Ive been able to pass on to future generations, as I believe many others are doing as well. Your legacy will be eternal. Lots of love to your family and may you rest in peace.

There are few people in life that bring joy to everyone they knew. Dr Gus was that kind of man. I am proud to have known and learned from him. God blessed his life and he will be greatly missed.

Dr. Gus was a wonderful orthodontist. He was my orthodontist in the 1970's Alway made me smile and caused me no pain as he adjusted my braces. God Bless Him for all his work on Earth. Peace to his family and may they find comfort in happy memories of him.

Dr. Gus should be canonized. He was a saint with a sense of humor. He made each child he cared for feel so important. While caring for my son, Mark my memories are of him talking to Mark in Yogi Berra language. My condolences to his family as he is irreplaceable.

Doctor Gus, and Jane,

I am one of Dr Gus' recent pt's. He was absolutely awesome and I will miss him very much. I've been out of treatment for about three years but I kept up with him on my follow up visits and through the staff after he had to leave for good. I love him and he will be in my heart forever. I have the greatest admiration for him for practicing and teaching as long as he did. I know his daughter is a nurse and I will be praying for her and his entire family. People frequently tell me that I have a...

Rick and Lisa,
My condolences to you and your family. Your Dad provided many lasting memories and teachings to us when we were kids growing up. His genuine heart and unending sense of humor reached out making all feel comfortable and welcomed. If something was important to us it suddenly became important to him. Your Dad was one of a kind that was a blessing to my life.
