Dr. Finley was one of the most ideal people to walk on the face of the earth. As a professor, he was "the" ultra professional is every possible way. He would instruct, challenge, and inspire in a way that made students always enthusiastic and eager for the next lesson. Without his interest, careful attention, advice, and encouragement, I would never have succeeded as a student and gone on to earn a Ph.D. Moreover his Christian principles created the greatest role model for us all.
