Not sure what to say?

"Aunt " Eva was a remarkable lady and was one whom everyone admired. She and her late husband, Abe, spent many happy occasions at my parent's [Mayme & Sam Roth] home during my childhood, and I remember them well. Our deepest sympathy to the family.
Fondly,
Leonard & Janet Roth

Dear Mars, Guttman, and Goldstein families:

There are so many of you to extend sympathies too. How lucky you were to have Eva for 106 years. And, how wonderful it was to know her. She was truly a special lady. Even my son, Brian (age 11) knew who she was when I said she passed away.

I am sorry I couldn't be with you at the service on Tuesday. I do want you to know you were thought about and that we will help to keep her alive in our memories along with my...

I was saddened to hear about the loss of Eva Mars. As many of you may not know, I am an 18 year old senior and I interviewed Eva Mars for my graduation project. I asked her questions about her life and I recorded it on tape. She was lucky to live through parts of three centuries and she was such an inspiration to me and many other people. She was like a matriarch to the Jewish Community of Pittsburgh. She was an extraordinary woman and she touched all who knew her. We were all very blessed to...

SO SORRY I HAD TO MISS THE FUNERAL..I HAD FOOT SURGERY, BUT WANTED YOU ALL TO KNOW HOW MUCH I ENJOYED "AUNT EVA" AND MY VISITS WITH HER IN HER DARLING APARTMENT. AS BARBARA ONCE SAID, WHEN SHE GOES NO ONE WILL KNOW WHAT TO DO! WHAT A GRAND DAME AND THE LAST OF THE ERA. LOVE TO YOU ALL ..SHE WILL BE MISSED. WITH LOVE, IRIS WALKER

What an inspiration she was! I will always remember her as such a dear friend of my family. My grandparents and their entire group where all such amazing people with such wonderful stories of their lives. Thank you for sharing her with us all these years.

MY AUNT FRANCES MORRIS - WHO WAS ALSO A RESIDENT AT WEINBERG TERRACE UNTIL RECENTLY - MARVELED AT EVA MARS. WHEN AUNT FAN STARTED TO SLOW DOWN, SHE WOULD OFTEN SAY THAT IF MRS. MARS COULD DO THINGS AT AGE 105, THERE WAS NO REASON SHE COULDN'T DO SOME THINGS AT AGE 92.
IT'S NOT JUST THE REMARKABLE LENGTH OF HER LIFE, BUT THE WAY SHE LIVED
THOSE YEARS! AUNT FRANCES AND I SEND OUR SYMPATHIES AND LOVE TO THE FAMILY OF A SPLENDID LADY.

Dear Gladys, Buddy and all-

We will fondly miss Aunt Eva, her
stories and her 5:00 martini. She
was a tribute to womankind and a treasure to those who loved her. It was a priviledge to have her in our lives.
Joel was so happy to have her as his patient and bragged about her to all. We will miss her.

With love-

Kerry and Joel
