Gordon passed away peacefully in Calgary on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at the age of 76 years.
He was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba where he lived before moving to Montreal and later to Calgary. He worked at the University of Manitoba, McGill University and University of Calgary before starting his business, AC Photoengraving and ERT, a first aid company. He had taught CPR for many years.
He is survived by daughter Colleen Boyd; son Derrick Boyd (Takako Boyd); grandchildren Natsuki Lilian Boyd and Ayaka Amber Boyd; sister Norma Holland; nephew Kirby Holland; niece Ariel (Al) Beaudoin; Sister Jean (Al) Rogowski; as well as many other family members and close friends.
Gordon was predeceased by his parents Nicholas Boyd and Lillian (Hannes) Boyd.
