Memphis, TN
Greg Thomas, age 52, of Memphis passed away on July 3, 2016 in Savannah, Tennessee. He was a dedicated 30+ year Walmart associate, a devoted Christian, and an active member of Sycamore View Church of Christ where he served as a leader in the Celebrate Recovery Ministry. His loves outside of church and family were fishing and music. He is preceded in death by his father, Billy Ray Thomas, and his sister Sandra Thomas Halfacre. He is survived by his beloved wife, Elaina Hinson Thomas, and his mother, Martha Mabry Thomas. Greg also leaves many dear friends and family. A celebration of life will be held at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133 on Saturday, July 9, 2016. Visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m. with funeral to follow at 2:00 p.m. If you choose, memorial contributions may be made in Greg's honor to LeBonheur Children's Hospital or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. he will be missed we went to school together his senior year and he graduated when i was in 10th grade. we will stay the best of friends and he will be watching over us all
