Griff Walker, was born in Houston on Tuesday March 9, 1993. His given name was David Griffiths Walker. Griff passed away unexpectedly on August 9, 2011 at his home. He attended River Oaks Elementary, Lanier Middle School, and Lamar High School. Griff's great passions were skateboarding, long boarding and spending time with his friends. He wanted to be a marine biologist and a writer. He wrote stories all of his life. Griff was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather John H. Beard and his paternal grandmother Maria Walker. He leaves behind his parents, David R. and Denise Walker; sister Jonelle and brother Andrew; grandmother Lorrie Beard, grandparents Dr. David G. and Conchita Walker; and all of his aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.
