Dad, I was your oldest daughter, Stephanie, and have so many loving memories of you. You see I have the advantage of more years with you. Amboy, Romeoville and Shorewood. You truly made each of your nine children feel so very special, like we were your only child. I was saddened to hear of Gene's passing and my deepest sympathies to Mrs. Frances Carroll and the entire family. As next door neighbors in Romeoville, I can still remember our good natured conversations about who had the better lawn while listening to the Cubs game in the background over an AM transitor radio on a sunny day. Pat and I remain friends to this day, as a testament to his commitment to family, strong values, and good friendship.
