James Edgar Dailey 52 of Huntington, WV died March 30, 2004 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. He was a Baptist by faith and was a 1970 graduate of Huntington East High School.
He was preceded in death by his brother Philip Dailey; grandfather Joe Short; grandmother Nellie Waldron and father in-law Junius Doss.
He is survived by his Mother and Father James E. and Joyce Dailey of Huntington; Son and Daughter in-law Chad and Jamey Dailey of Huntington; Daughter and Son in-law Kara and Barry (Scooter) Cremeans of Lavalette, WV; Brother and Sister in-law Stephen and Teresa Dailey of Milton, WV; Sister and Brother in-law Sandra and Barry Martin of Teays Valley; Grandmother Mary Short of Hurricane; Grandsons Corey, Cody, Cameron Cremeans; Nieces Sarah Hall, Jessica Haynes, Brittany and Amy Martin; Special Friends Clarice Doss, Sonny Bailey, Ron Nicely and Tom Stough.
Services will be held Friday April 2 11:00am at Beard Mortuary, Huntington with Rev. Edwin Harper officiating. Burial will be in Enon Cemetery, Salt Rock.
Friends may call 6-8pm Thursday at the mortuary.

Jim was my brother-in-law a good friend of the family, and a good father to my niece, Kara, and nephew, Chad. I will miss him a lot when I come home to visit. He was a very special person.
