Matt, sorry to hear about your dad, I meant to send this weeks ago, when I heard.I can't even start to think of how hard this has been being so far away, not being able to be there. But I know you were always there, in your heart and spirit, you always spoke of your parents in your emails, I am praying for you, hope to hear from you soon. Love your friend Lisa Shell (Q.A. buddies)

Dearest, Dad
As my sister said it best you are missed very dearly,I know I was miles away but never in my heart just as know I think of you everytime I smell cigarette smoke, everytime I see and older man with a baseball cap, you taught your family one of the most important things a man can teach to love.I learned so much from you hard work the love of working outside to at least try something once before you turn it away. I often think about you in heaven with your dad and mom fishing on the creek bank and maybe Uncle Tom. I know how you loved your family and I know you were never afraid to tell us how much we meant. I know you were tired and I know your not in anymore pain and think of you playing your french horn with the wonderful music you have near you.I know you were so very well blessed that you had my wonderful sister and brother Mark to help look after you near the end and I know it was best that you were in the nursing home with mom at the end so that they could help you with the pain and the care that you needed that we could no longer give. Thanks again for sharing your life and teaching me what love is all about, you were a wonderful dad and are always in my heart. Love your youngest babyboy you are my ditty.

DADDY, I MISS YOU SO MUCH.YOU WERE THE BEST DAD A DAUGHTER COULD HAVE HAD. YOU LOVED ALL OF US NO MATTER WHAT. YOU WORKED HARD ALL YOUR LIFE TO PROVIDE FOR YOUR FAMILY. YOU WERE A WONDERFUL HUSBAND YOU LOVED OUR MOTHER TO THE VERY END, TELLING THE NURSES IN THE NURSING HOME TO LOOK AT YOUR BEAUTIFUL WIFE, ISN'T SHE SO PRETTY. SHE WILL BE WITH YOU BEFORE TO LONG. KEEP A LOOK OUT FOR HER. I KNOW THEN YOU BOTH WILL BE OKAY AND NEVER BE IN PAIN AGAIN.
I WILL FOREVER LOVE YOU AND KEEP YOU IN MY HEART.
LOVE
YOUR DAUGHTER JANE
