I began eating at the Pancake Pantry in 1960, the year he opened. I was only eight years old. My family has been lifelong customers ever since. One of the highlights of EVERY trip to Gatlinburg! We have waited in line in the heat and in the snow, but it was always worth it. I remember talking to Mr Jim many times through the years.
