Not sure what to say?

Jim, So we are here in the desert and wanted to see you. Ken, of course, wanted to play golf with you and we find you have left us. I remember all the times you filled Mom's house with your stories and how full of energy and life you were. A whoosh into our family. Our prayers to your family.
With much belated love
Ken and Georgie Mendonca

Dear Uncle Jim,

Sorry I was not able to attend the celebration of your life. I am going to miss you very much. You were my uncle from California and all the cool that goes along with it. You are also the guy that we knew as a GREAT golfer and tennis player. I always loved your cars. I can still remember the day we took the Porsche for a ride and you said punch it. What a thrill. I remember wearing your navy shirt to school and feeling very proud to have had an uncle in the...

I remember Jim from the old days at Lincoln Jr. High and Mankato High School. Jim really had a great sense of humor, thanks Jim for making our study hall "interesting"! Steve Braun

Annual fun Christmas party.

Jim your smiling face will be missed by all in our desert. Shared many a good time with you and Lori over the years. We are so sad. Our heartfelt sympathy to Lori and family.

Jim was one of a kind, a true gentleman. He could walk into any room and bring a smile to everyone. Jim's sweet smile, great laugh and gentle sole will be missed by all who knew him. How fortunate we were to have known such a dear sweet man.

We were so saddened to hear of Jim's passing, but remember his exuberant joy for life, his robust laughter, and the stories he would tell - he never met a stranger. I will always remember the wonderful impromtu ride in his sportscar - full out...what a great memory. We were so blessed to be related by marriage and to have Jim in our lives. He will be missed. Our love and prayers go out to the rest of the family.

Jim Reber was one of the greatest persons I have ever met. He was, first and foremost, a very good friend and would do anything for you. He was kind, considerate, totally honest, personable, and funny. He was fun to be with and a great conversationalist and incredible story teller. He acted out his stories in an ebullient way. He never met a stranger and was friendly to everyone he met. No one was ever a stranger. I miss him terribly.

Jim:
From one North Mankatoan to another, we will miss you at the reunions. It was always great to see you again. My friend may the wind be always at your back and may you coffee cup always be full.
