Not sure what to say?

"Mr. Stuart," as I called him - he called me "slick" - was my piano teacher for almost eight years, beginning when I was 12. He was a wonderful, lovely man who always smiled and never got angry when you didn't have time to practice, which made me feel even more guilty. He was a brilliant pianist and the kindest man I have ever known. I truly loved him.

I was only 16 when I joined the choir at Holy Comforter, and Gary Stuart was my first real music teacher and choir director. He used to call us his angels. When we recorded the Seasons for the Soul CD it was really really cool.I will really miss him and Nancy. They will be with me in my heart.

Gary was a friend for almost 50 years, the organist at our wedding, and a "piano buddy" and fellow music teacher. I'm relieved his suffering is over, and he is joining Nancy. My sympathy to his family.

To Gary's family,
He was my piano teacher when I returned to taking lessons as an adult. What a patient and kind teacher! He encouraged me to begin playing again, and rekindled my love of piano. I will miss him as I also miss Nancy, as dear friends. Please take care of their little dog.
