Not sure what to say?

Mr. Collard and family:
Brigham and I were so sorry to read of Mrs. Collard's passing. I always felt welcomed in your home as a close friend of Ann and the rest of the Collard family. Mrs. Collard was always busy when I knew her and she always had a great sense of humor with her children, family and their friends. I will cherish my memories of your family and send you my most heartfelt condolences.

Jean was a wonderful woman-- generous, kind, patient, and cheerful. I especially remember that she was continually cheerful. I never heard her complain. I'm sure she had her moments when she complained about life's hardships-- we all do. However, if something was bothering her, I never knew it; she always had the grace to keep smiling and keep her frustrations to herself.

Jean had an infectious, distinctive and joyful laugh-- at least to me. She laughed readily. In my mind...

I will dearly miss my Great-Aunt Jean. She is there at my earliest memories giving me two graham crackers to eat on the way home from dinner, to when I was older and she helped me through the temple when I first went and when I got married. She was always an example to me of the wonders that a woman could achieve. I love you Aunt Jean

I am so sorry for the loss of Jean. She was the most wonderful violinist. I loved being her accompanist a few times. I was especially grateful when she played for my mother's (Vilate Norton's) funeral back in 1997. That was my mother's request before she died. I will always love Jean. (Margaret Norton Sunderland)

Grant my sincere sympathy & may the Lord be with you. Jean was always smiling whenever I visited with her & her violin music was so wonderful I loved hearing her play. we enjoyed the dance club with you & how grateful i am for the memories that are keeping me going. thanks for being so kind. Roxie Fager

Jean was the kindest woman I have ever known. She was such a wonderful example of love, service, and humility.

My deepest sympathy for the loss of Jean. It was my greatest pleasure to meet her over the internet. I am so shocked at her passing.. Leah Bernice Sulier 302 N Maple, Joplin, MO 64801, [email protected]
