Sad to hear this news. Mr. Mendelsohn was a strong and positive role model throughout my childhood, not only to his own children, but to all the neighborhood kids. He will be missed.

I am saddened by the news of Mr. Mendelsohn's death. I was employed at James River Convalescent Center fourteen years before relocating to Phoenix, Arizona. Mr. Mendelsohn was dedicated to quality patient care and I found him to be fair and understanding. I was fortunate to have known him and my thoughts of sympathy go out to his family.
