John Babb was the father of my best friend Josh Bennett. I remember being so jealous that when Josh came back from his many vacations with his father including trips cross country and scuba diving. Josh Jessie Sarah and Danny had a fascinating father and he will be missed by all whos lives he touched.

Although I only knew JB for the last year, he made a big impression upon me. His attitude, love of life and determination were very evident and will be remembered. This world and especially Austin has lost a very unique and charismatic individual. The impact of his life will not be lost or forgotten by his many friends.

I got to meet John about a year ago, through Sara Follin. He struck me as a nice, cheerful and easy-going gentleman. I am sure he will be sorely missed by his loved ones, especially Danny. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace. Amen.

John alway stood with me in times of need. A good friend to my son and I, and to my daughter, as a mentor and entertainer. He will be missed.
Physics was always on his mind and through a diligent analysis of its tenants and precepts, coupled with a firm foundation in Gods testimony, John found harmony and love in all Gods creation.
Having known J.B., we are all better people as a result.

I first met John 37 years ago when we were both in high school. We lost touch but met again at Pete Rostow's house in late 2004. The thing I took away from seeing him again was his crooked little smile. I remarked to him how I always remembered his smile over the years and I was rewarded again with that smile. It hadn't changed in all those past decades. Vaya con Dios, amigo.

This is a very hard thing to deal with, the loss of a fried since childhood. He has been a part of the Pearsall family since elementary school and we all are broken hearted at the loss. To his dear wife Brenda who stood by him to the end I wrap her in my love and concern. Brenda, should you ever need anything, just call. Dear John, we love you and will never forget you. Your loving friends, The Pearsalls
