John Chappell

To John's loved ones - I wish you strength and peace during this difficult time. I am so sad to see he has passed. I had the pleasure to be in an educational cohort with John years ago. I enjoyed our interactions and appreciated his positive attitude and sense of humor. Sweet guy and truly a gem!

John was my teacher when I took radio classes at MJC in the late 80's. Several years, later I was working at KFIV when John encouraged me to apply for a position to oversee MJC's campus radio station. The next 20 years John and I worked together (along with others in the RA/TV Dept.) to continue building a strong broadcast program. John and I shared many good times together whether it was enjoying a good laugh, a good meal and on a few occasions, a fun flight in his Grumman Tiger.

John & I grew up together. We re-connected a few years back, and I was so saddened to read about his passing. I'm hoping his cousin Charlene reads this, and gets in touch with me. Bye John, you will be missed. Clarice Presto Ligonis
