Not sure what to say?

Louise's 8/5/12 photo singing Mason to sleep radiates Louise's loving soul: a remarkable lady forever living in the hearts of all who knew her.

I have great memories from the 90s of musical evenings with Louise and her family at their lake house in Bemus Pt. New York. She was a great lady. X

I remember with a very grateful heart the time that Mrs. Savage instilled to me in the belief that I would be great. We would spend hours together practising for the state vocal contest. I was a bass baritone voice. The designated song for the contest was "The people that walked in Darkness" Louise was the only person I can remember that never gave up on me knowing that I could be great even though I dropped out on her. I remember vividly when we would go sailing on her beautiful red wooden...

It was a particular pleasure to spend time with Louise and family so many times having dinner, sharing stories, and singing around the piano. A very special lady of a loving family.

Louise and James used to come to Bemus Point NY in the summer. They would hold a musical evening once a week. A very young musician was I. But these evenings taught me the beauty of intimate performance. I was able to take a few lessons from Louise but later in college and after I helped found an opera company in South Bend IN., Indiana Opera North. Thank you. Their influence stayed with me! Sincere condlences on the passing of Louise Savage. Her joyous and warm spirit will remain in the hearts and minds of all who knew he

I have so many lovely memories of Louise, enjoying Sunday dinners at their home after a rehearsal of vocal music with Jim at the piano. The best memory of all was when Louise and I sang together at Willoughby School of Fine Arts in a production of the opera "The Ballad of Baby Doe." I sang the role of Horace Tabor and Louise was my wife Augusta. Louise had a beautiful voice and was an impressive actress on stage. I remember in particular our duet when Augusta discovers Horace's passion for...

To Mr. Savage and Family:
I have so many wonderful memories of Mrs. Savage as a girl in Jr. High and High School. She was my vocal coach at Andrews, teaching me to sing from my diaphragm. She was truly an inspiration in how she lived her life as a kind-hearted person, and touched many along the way. In loving memory of Mrs. Savage. Truly a singing Angel!

I am so sorry to learn of Mrs. Savage's passing. She was one of my music teachers, along with Mr. Savage, at the then Andrews School for Girls back in the early 1970's. She was such a wonderfully, kind-hearted person with a beautiful singing voice. She taught me to sing from my diaphram. She will certainly be missed. I extend my condolences to her family.
