Marlow was married to my cousin Pat. We became acquainted through Pat's sister Adella, who became interested in reconnecting with relatives. My brother Kenny and I spent many happy hours playing board games with Pat and Marlow when I came back for a visit. They were always generous in giving me a place to stay and buying me dinner whenever I flew into the Portland airport before driving on to the coast.
