Martin Fleckenstein Obituary

Martin John Erich Fleckenstein was born in Puerto Ordaz, Venezuela on November 2, 1979 to Leigh Anne Johnson and Helmut Albin Fleckenstein. He spent his youth in Barquisimeto, Venezuela where he graduated from high school and then went on to the Institute of Art in Caracas, Venezuela. Martin studied Innovative Product Design at the University of Dundee, Scotland where he received a Bachelor of Science. In his Junior year he studied at the Politecnico de Milan on the Erasmus program. He returned to the U.S. to be with his family in June 2010. Martin passed away on Friday, August 10. He is survived by his parents, sister Anneliese (Ernesto), brother Marcus (Isabel), his seven nieces and nephews for whom he was their "best buddy", and extended family who adored him. Martin was loved by all who knew him and will be sorely missed. Funeral services will be held at St. Anne's Episcopal Church at Church Circle on Friday, August 24th at 11:00 a.m.
