Matthew William Zabel

I am so sad to hear of the passing of Matt. My heart goes out to his family and friends. All the fun and memories I have with Matt will last forever.

Matt was a great friend and neighbor of mine from our time in college at Miami (OH) and since. We had a lot of a good times during school, and my wife and kids loved visiting Matt and his family in Clarkston. He was an amazing friend and host - he worked so hard to make sure everyone was having a great time and making great memories. I'm so glad that so many people will have those memories forever - thanks, Matt!!

Matt was a great teammate and extremely creative in thoughts. My sincere condolences.

Very sorry to hear of Matt's passing. We had some great times growing up together throughout school, out on the lake & on the soccer field. My condolences to the Zabel family.

I have so many fond memories of our high school years with Matt, he always made summer so much fun taking friends on the boat. The family was always so gracious!
It has been so many years since I’ve seen Matt, but in reading all the beautiful messages, he was so incredibly loved.

So Sorry to hear of Matt's Passing. Our family have lots of good memories. Soccer scrimmages in the summer, tubing, swimming and skating in the winter. Had some great times and will miss a good friend.
