Michael,
I just got back from being out of town to find out the sad news. Rest in peace my friend. I know everyone thinks you will be playing keys up there but I know you will be playing guitar.
Thanks for your friendship.

Mike was the first guitarist/keyboardist in the first band I was ever in. One of the most talented too!! It was back in the mid seventies. In the prime time of Rock and Roll. It started from Ray Parish and I meeting him through my Step Brother (Tommy Black) and his Guitarist (Andy Highhouse) from their Band Issiah. They knew Mike from Saguaro High and knew Ray and I were trying to put a band together. So they got Mike and Doug Bernheart together with us. We use to practice at my Moms house...

The two years I lived at Bobs (1980-1982) I would never miss when Mike would come over to practice with Softwatch. I would always helped him carry his gear. Mike was an Angel! He never missed a gig. Most talented. He always had a smile and a compliment. I have played drums ever since. He was one of my most valued inspirations in life. I will never forget such an Idol.
