Not sure what to say?

Although your family is missing you very much, we know you're in a better place. We always enjoyed seeing you when we would go to Roseann's parties in the basement or just hanging out on the patio. We fondly remember your standard fashion statement, a white ribbed tank top. The sentiments left by your family and many friends are a testament to the joy and happiness that you brought to all who knew you. We know you'll be watching over your family. May your soul rest in peace. Love, Nora and...

Thank you to all our friends and family who submitted the treasured tributes to our beloved husband and dad. In reading all the nice words that you took the time to prepare, we know that Mikey touched so many lives and will be sorely missed.

All our love,
Joan Lattanzio, Roseann, Tom & Thomas Scibelli, Laura, Joey, Kristen, Ashley & Gabrielle Seelinger

Mikey, we will all miss you and the laughter you brought to this world. But all is not lost. You and Joanie gave us our dear friend, your daughter, Roseann to keep us laughing. You went to heaven a very rich man having so many who cared about you. These riches could never have been earned at any job. I know that you are finally now free from pain and you leave all your family and friends with many many years of wonderful memories. We'll see you again someday in heaven. Pray for all of us down...

I last saw Mike Lattanzio at Thomas' Communion Party in May of '04. He looked the same as I had remembered him from years before...happy, healthy, full of life. Little did we know that a terrible disease had crept back into his life and into the lives of those who loved him.
I first met the Lattanzio's around 1974. My cousin Jane and I would stop by their house to pick up Roseann and Debbie every Saturday as we walked to the mall. I loved going there. There was always something...

I first met Mike Lattanzio when I was 18 years old. My sister Roseann had been friends with Ro since they had met each other at Nassau Community college a few years before. I got to know all the girls who are now members of what is called the "Birthday Club".
The whole group took me out many times. As the years passed and all the girls gradually got engaged and then married, Ro and I became very close. We are now like sisters. We've been through a lot with each other and this sad...

Dad,
Thanks for all the great memories you gave me and also to Thomas. You were the only grandfather he knew and even though he didn’t see you as much as you or him would have liked, you were a great influence on him. If he grows up to be the man you were, I know he will be one great man.

I will always remember the stories you would tell me about growing up, or working at the post office or any another colorful things you did. Of course you may have told me the same ones...

In Loving Memory of the best father in the whole world Michael Lattanzio
Dad, you were and always will be my whole world. You were the best father anyone could ask for. I was sooo glad that I was there to take care of you for the past couple of weeks. It made me feel wonderful that I could repay you for all you have done for me in my life. We al know I wasnt the greatest kid to deal with but you loved me unconditionally. Poppy you were the best thing that ever happend to me. I only got to spend the first 15 years with you. That 15 years are going to be the best years of my life. When ever i needed help with homework projects you were always there to help me.I remeber my sixth grade year you helped me make my pyramid for my ancient history class. We did such a great job. The best part was that I got an A. And that was all because of you. If you didnt help me I probably would have recieved an F or something...
