I was so sorry to hear about your dad. I always thought your family sounded like they had so much fun together and were so close. I will never forget your parents generous offer to help when I was struggling with finances at St Joseph's.

Dear Aunt Fay, I am so sorry to hear of Uncle Mike's passing. Joseph Stuart Hayes called me tonight to tell me about Uncle Mike. I am so sorry that I was not told before tonight, as I would have definitely been there to pay my respects to you, uncle Mike and the rest of the family. Please know that I will keep all of you in my prayers - I always remember my mom and uncle Mike being so close; please let me know if there is anything that I can ever do for you.

John would have been so sad to hear of Mike's passing. He really liked and respected the guy and loved hearing Mike's tales of the Kennedy Administration.
