Dear Connelly Family,
I am very sorry to only recently learn of Dr Connelly's passing! I went to school with Neil Jr and often remember the fun times we had in their home as a child. Dr Connelly's wit was like no other. He reminded me of a young George Burns. Up until recently I recall seeing him at MAss every Sunday but had not seen him for some time and did not make the connection he was gone .God Bless Dr Connelly and his family always!
Sincerely,
Pat Larrea

My sincere sympathy to the family of Dr Connelly. I worked with Dr. Connelly at Muhlenberg Medical Center in the Emergency Room in 1976 (ish). He was one of the funniest men I have ever met, he also was a great clinician, he taught me a great deal.
He was also a great story teller... I can still remember stories he told me,(so many years ago) and have retold them. He sparked my interest in Emergency Medicine and I worked in that specialty for many years.
I remember one day Dr. Connelly...

A man of honor and integrity, instilling these qualities in his family, especially his son, Dr. John Connelly. He was an asset to our community and his legacy lives on.

Neil was a great Doctor and a great person all the way around!! He will be deeply missed by everyone that knew him.. NO ONE COULD EVER REPLACE HIM AS A DOCTOR!!! HE WAS THE BEST.. I REMEMBER WHEN HE AND STOLTZ WERE A TEAM.. Neil was so caring and he was so stern at the same time!!! It takes a special person to acquire both skills!!

To the Connelly Family, I was sorry to hear of the loss of your father. Our fathers were collegues at AOMC and were quite a force to be reckoned with. I worked for a few years at AOMC and the employees were very fond of your father. He always made the units come alive with laughter. Its ironic that our fathers left us on the same day. They must be having a wonderful reunion.
