Nicole Marie Zimmerman

Nicole Marie Zimmerman, 36, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at 8:58 a.m. It's with great sadness that we mourn the loss of our dear daughter, sister, girlfriend, and friend Nicole. She was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on April 27, 1979, to Martha and Gary Zimmerman of Fort Wayne. After graduating Wayne High School, she attended Purdue University. She earned her Doctor of Chiropractic care degree from Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon. She was a very spirited, compassionate, beautiful young woman who was kind and loving to everyone in her life. She is survived by her parents and her sisters Jill C. Roth of Columbus, Ohio, and Angela S. Zizak of Bedford, Indiana. She adored her nieces and nephews and admired her grandparents. Her loving companion, Yoni Whitten of La Jolla, California, was an incredible source of strength and encouragement for her. She is preceded in death by her brother, David C. Zimmerman at the age of 25. Private Family Services. Nicole will be deeply missed, but she'll be remembered for living life her way until the very end.
