I was Mr. Smith's apartment manager when he owned the El Mesa Grande apartments in Mira Mesa. He got a kick out of my little kids when he would stop in. He frequently shared memories about his boys and always spoke so kindly about his wife. He was a strict boss and he was always fair and kind with me. I'm glad he lived such a long life. My condolences to his sons and grandchildren.

My father, Sid GARDNER, was friends with NORMAN. After my dad passed away in 2009 NORMAN was thoughtful and supportive helping me to deal with the loss. NORMAN adored his family and he's beloved, June. He was an inspiration.
