Richard James Houston, 63, of Crystal Lake passed away unexpectedly on January 25, 2016. He was born on March 25, 1952 in Woodstock, IL to James and Lillian (nee Tesar) Houston.

Richard was a life long resident of Crystal Lake, IL and had worked for IDOT for 31 years.

Richard will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 31 years, Debralee (nee Cassell), his children Michael Houston, Christina (Kieran) Hartnett-Georgi, Michelle (Steven) Hoyt-Georgi. His grandchildren Jada & Jaxon Hoyt, Aubrey Fischer and Camden Houston, his sisters Edie Aldridge and Nanci Sener, and his many nieces, nephews and friends.

He was an avid Chicago sports fan, especially his beloved Chicago Bears. Besides his family his biggest love was his Dogs.

Memorial visitation will be February 3, from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rte. 176), Crystal Lake, IL 60014.


 


In lieu of suits, Chicago Bears attire is welcomed!
