Not sure what to say?

I am deeply saddened by the passing of Dr. Friedman, who was my friend, encourager, surrogate father and dentist for the past 8 years. We shared a love of family, travel and soft rock music which he often played in the office, he gave me great advice on life, and encouraged me while in school pursing my masters degree. He always made me laugh and I often looked forward to my dental visits with Dr. Friedman. I had talked about him so much that my mother came to visit, she wanted to meet...

I met Bob when I had a abscess tooth, 1967. I had a fear of dentist. as I waited in his office, actually shivering, he walked up, sat in my lap and stuck out his hand and said hello. We were friends for life. There are not enought words or time to express mine and my families love for Dr. Bob. you will be missed, until we meet again.

Dr. Friedman was my dentist when I was a little girl. He always made dental visits fun and easy. It is because of him that I became a dentist myself and now practice in Macon with my husband. I only hope that I am able to make such an impact on my patients as he did with his patients. He will be missed.

I left a condolence at the funeral home page but thought I'd leave one here. I am 45 today and he was the dentist my parents went to when I was a child in the late 60's. I continued to see him after I got my first job and my own dental plan :) We drove from East Point until he closed his Smyrna practice. I tried going to the other dentist but it wasn't the same. I never knew if he continued to practice dentistry anywhere. He was a special person and I've never found another dentist that...

Bobby was my cousin. He took me to my first baseball game. He was there for me when I needed advice and he could always be counted on to say something funny and irreverent. I tried as much as I could to be there for him in his time of need and I am very saddened that I couldn't do more for him. I will dedicate the rest of my career in cancer research to him and I will forever cherish my memories of him. My thoughts and prayers are with Judy and Elaine and all of his family.

To all who knew and loved my Uncle Bob know that there are no two alike. He was always the man who made me laugh as a child and feel loved. You will be forever missed and loved! May his memory be a blessing to his family and all of his friends!

Dr. Friedman has been my dentist since I was a little girl. I heard about his illness during a routine visit to the office and I promise I haven't been back since ( and probably want be). He knew that I had a fear of needles and a love for music and traveling so he would sing to me while doing dental work or telling me about his travels. Sometimes I would think that he was making them up just to keep me calm but as he would reminisce I would imagine myself there. So I will continue to...

Bob was one in a million. He will be missed by many.My first job was working in his office and I'll never forget him.
