Not sure what to say?

Dear Joan and family -
With deep sadness, I've only now learned of Robert's death. As his "distant Midwestern cousin" who fondly remembers visiting you about 10 years ago, I will always treasure that brief visit, and the wonderful dinner we had at that superb restaurant near your home in Livingston. I deeply regret not making a greater effort to keep in touch after that, and I'm not sure if this message will reach you, but please accept my deep sympathy on this tragic loss. Even so,...

Dr. Hobson,I can't explain the sorrow when I heard of his death. His brillance saved my life. I will be 80 next week, and I prayer for him & his family everyday. Also my daughter inlaw Ruth was so impressed of his dedication & brillance. He will be missed.
God Bless. Regards, Mary & Stan Kowalski & Ruth Davis.

Dear Matthew, Lisa & Laura,
I was so very sorry to hear about your father. He was a wonderful person and a truly inspiring individual. I was your Dad's secretary when he was at the VA Hospital back in 1974. What a great boss and friend. I knew he had four children and wanted to extend my sympathies to each of you. Luckily, I saw your names listed in a tribute on another site. My heart goes out to all of you during this difficult time. I was also so very very sorry to hear about...

My deepest sympathy to the family of
Dr. Robert W. Hobson. He was a brilliant and dedicated physician, who will be missed by all who knew him. It was an honor for me to have worked with him.
May his family find comfort in fond memories, as well as his great accomplishments in medicine.

You are with Wayne now.
