Robert was born on December 5, 1928 and passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2017. Robert was a resident of Lewisburg, West Virginia at the time of passing. As per his wishes his body will be cremated and a Celebration of His Life Service will be held at a later date to be announced. Coach Zopp lived his faith. He was a man of integrity, and as so many have said so well, he will be missed. Very few men have influenced my life like Coach Zopp. I will be forever grateful for his teachings and support.

Bob Zopp was one of the greatest men I ever knew. He was my uncle and my second father figure. He loved his family and his fellow man. The world is a better place because he lived in it. I miss his physical presence here but rejoice in his reaching the other side of the river. He is with my dad, Ed Zopp, whom he loved very much. I can only imagine the two of them together telling stories and laughing with their friends from Middletown. God is good.
