HACHEY

Rudolph David Hachey, passed away on December 2, 2015 at the age of 92. Rudy a long time resident of Evendale, Ohio, a respected civic and business leader and an Army Airforce veteran who served in World War II. Rudy was born in New Brunswick, CA on February 1, 1923 and immigrated to the United States with his parents John and Ellen Hachey. He was raised in Royal Oak, MI and attended St. Mary's High School where he met his future wife Anastasia "Ann" Karos. On March 5th, 1943 Rudy enlisted in the Army Airforce and served in France and Belgium. After his discharge from the military he married Ann, and began their family in Berkley, MI. While raising his family he attended the University of Detroit where he obtained a Degree in Business Administration. In 1969 the family moved to Evendale, where Rudy was active in local civic and community affairs. Rudy enjoyed boating, football, baseball and was an avid golfer until the age of 90. To his many friends, neighbors and family, Rudy will be remembered for his kind, warm, generous nature and beautiful sense of humor. He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Ann, 7 children, 21 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 1-5pm on Sunday December 6th at Mihovk-Rosenacker Funeral Home, 10211 Plainfield Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45241. A mass will be held at the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church 177 Siebenthaler Ave. Reading Ohio at 10am, December 7th, followed by interment at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Montgomery, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Rita School for the Deaf.
