Russell Joseph Wright

Russ wasn't just our plumber - we came to think of him as a friend. He was such a strong, hard worker - he belied his age. He was a gentle, kind & loving man. My mom lived with us after she had her stroke and one day Russ said something in Italian to her- well, he made her day and we were so surprised - didn't know he spoke the language. He just laughed and said he had picked up some Italian during the war. Of course, that led to a whole new conversation. He will be sorely missed by many...

Our prayers are with Russell and his family. We knew Russell because of the work he did for us as a plumber. He was a generous and kind man; a humble man who did not talk about his bravery during the war. We have no doubt that he is in the loving arms of our Creator. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

We are so sorry for your loss. We didn't have the opportunity to know Mr. Wright very well, but we are fortunate to know Cheryl. She always spoke so fondly of her Dad.... His strong work ethic, gentle humor, and integrity. She clearly treasured the times spent with him. Our thoughts are with you all.

Dad, what an amazing blessing you've been in my life. I can picture you right now, in awe of Heaven's greatness - and probably making someone laugh. I couldn't have had a more loving father-in-law. You and Mom are the reasons Lyle is such a wonderful husband - I'll be forever grateful for your powerful example of a good man.

Russ was truely one of a kind. He was a great man and I will miss him. He has been my plumber for more years than I can count.
