Not sure what to say?

Rest in peace Dr. Chu. You never know what your memories about a person will be until they are no longer with you. Mine will be the many times my family would come to dinner at Diana's house. I would bring my guitar and play music with Kylie. Dr. Chu always made it sound like we were great when we were just trying really hard. A genuine man.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

Dear Li-Ming and the family, please accept our deepest condolences. I first remember George when I was interviewing in 1972 and went to meet him in the old Bureau. I was nervous and George was so bright and so gentle. Over the years, I hope I learned the lessons George taught. He was a superior role model and superb teacher. I recall his wisdom about dealing with people that helped me so much. I especially recall his excitement about economics and its history. Most special, I think,...

Rest in Peace, Dr. Chu. I will always cherish the fond memories of the get-togethers our families had when I was growing up. I remember the beautiful plants you lovingly tended in your garden, the tasty dinners you and your wife cooked, and the fun camping trip our families shared in 1976. Mrs. Chu, David, and Diana, may loving memories bring you peace, comfort and strength.

Rest in Peace, Dr. Chu. When I was growing up, I always looked forward to our families getting together at our house or yours. I'm sorry we didn't have as much opportunity after we grew up and moved away. My heartfelt sympathies are with your wife, David, and Diana.

To the Chu family . . .my heartfelt condolences. To know what kind of man George was, you only have to look at his children. . . David and Diana . . . brilliant, charming, and reliable. He made me feel welcome every time I saw him. What a great role model for all to follow.

Rest in peace George. I will never forget the times we shared when I worked with you in the Economics Dept. at UNR. You were an inspiration to me! God be with your family and hold them close in his love.

My sincere condolences to the Chu family. Our families would get together, including a long trip to Yellowstone, and George would entertain us kids by talking a million miles per hour in Chinese. Rest in peace, Dr. Chu.
