Thomas Francis Martin

January 17, 1942 – November 1, 2020

Thomas F. Martin was a loving, devoted husband and an amazing stepfather. He leaves behind his wife, children and grandchildren.

Tom enjoyed life on the water, especially boating adventures with his loyal first mate and beloved poodle, Cody. He was especially happy spending leisure hours at the Maryland Yacht Club.

He will be sorely missed, but he’ll always be remembered forever “Still Chillin”.

Not sure what to say?

I am sorry to hear of your loss. Please call me any time you would like to talk. My prayers go with you.

Tom gave my friend Donna something she had not had in a very long time: love and happiness. He came into her life when she had pretty much given up on finding the love of her life. He was generous and loving to her and her children. He was taken too soon. I am sad to hear about this incredible loss.

Sorry to hear about the loss of Tom. I'll certainly miss hearing all the stories. Enjoyed Christmas Eve and swimming at the yacht club. Thanks for having me.

My deepest condolences to the Martin family on the loss of Tom Martin you were a great boss when I worked for you at the Rock and Robin you sure will be missed rest in peace may all the good times we all shared Linger on and the hearts and minds of all those who knew you Kathy Barkley

It was very upsetting to hear of Tom passing. I always enjoyed hearing him speak during our family gatherings, having a good wit was just one of his many wonderful traits. It has been an absolute pleasure, and until we meet again, I hope you found clear skies and warm waters.

Nick and I were so very sorry to hear of Tom’s passing. Our deepest sympathies to you Donna and your family. We will miss seeing Tom on the Farm, at Thanksgiving celebrations, annual Christmas Eve parties, birthdays, and the many other special occasions we shared. He sold us our very first crabbing boat “Little Chillin” and would often share memories of his love of the water. Fair Winds and Following Seas my friend.

Tom's presence with all of us at family gatherings and parties was always a gift and a blessing. I'm remembering his family in my prayers to the Lord, the God of hope.

I really enjoyed all the get togethers, birthday parties and Christmas Eve celebrations we were able to share together. I will miss seeing you eat those huge crabs, while I ate Hawaiian hot dogs (you know you secretly loved those Hawaiian hot dogs). I wish you could have seen that I actually sold my truck. Rest in peace and keep Chillin until we meet again.

I had the privilege of meeting Tom when he started dating Donna. Tom always enjoyed coming to our family parties with his faithful dog Cody by his side. I remember the last time Tom was with my family—we were celebrating Christmas at Topolino’s and he graciously supplied a limo to take us on a tour to to see the Christmas decorations at Watkins State Park.
Rest in peace Tom and be assured you will greatly be missed! Love in Christ.
