Tom was my mentor at the GA Library for the Blind. I couldn't have done that job without him. He was a friend and a mentor. I am so sad to hear of his passing.

Tom and I have been close friends for over 42 years. A loving and caring person. He will be missed but I know he no longer has to struggle with his health.

My husband and I have been friends of Tom since our youthful days in Boston, over 30 years. We had the pleasure to have breakfast with him this past Thanksgiving when we were visiting Atlanta. We found him to be chipper as always and his usual "Tom" self. Had a great time so we were saddened to learn of his passing a few days later. We will miss our wonderful friend.

I was very saddened to hear about your loss. May you and your loved ones receive comfort and strength during this difficult time by drawing closer to our Creator through prayer and from His word. Ps. 34:17, 18.

Friends like Tom are rare gifts. He was a great person, librarian and was a mentor and teacher. His legacy is huge and the mark he left for libraries will be a lasting memorial to his passion and dedication to excellence and genuine quality. Godspeed, my friend!
