Not sure what to say?

Nancy , Ellen , Joe
Very disappointed that I could not be there to say goodbye to Bill.
Simply said " He was the BEST of the BEST & an unmatched Role Model for all of us"
With deepest sympathy.

TO ALL OF THE MEMBERS OF THE WILLIAM POWER FAMILY.I just learned of the passing of Bill today and I want to send you my deepest sympathy. Bill Power was some one I idolized not just because of his great tennis ability and constant willingness to help others achieve their best in the game of tennis but also in sportsmanship. I was very very fortunate to know Bill for many years and was able to receive his guidance and support in the game of tennis and ofcourse have great enjoyment playing...

Dear Nancy, Billy, Ellen and Suzie,

How sorry we were to hear of your father's passing. I have many wonderful memories of him...what a
special man he was. I never saw him when he didn't have a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

To Nancy and family, Your Dad was a super guy. I was very happy to spend some time with him this past summer. He always had a smile and was so easy to be around. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. God Bless, Christine Gill Almeida

Nancy and famiy - I have fond memories of your dad when we played as juniors. Your parents continued to do so much for the tennis community long after those days! Please accept my deepest sympathy.
Sue (Harry) Jennings (formerly of Westboro)

Dear Nancy, Billy, Ellen and Suzie,
Mom and I were deeply saddened to learn of your Dad's passing. He was the most kind and loving uncle and brother-in-law. We will miss Him dearly.

He would encouage younger players, to give back to the game and volunteer for USTA assignments. I met him in the early seventies. I can't say exactly how many of us he started on the path of promulgating tennis as way of life, or the number of present and future players that exists as a result of his work, but...

“The time has come to say goodbye it won’t be easy and I’ll most likely cry, like a leaf that falls at season end, a change has come and I’m losing a friend”

You can’t say this about too many people but Bill made a difference!

My thoughts go out to all the Power family.

BILLY WAS OUT OF OUR CLASS EVEN THEN.I AM VISITING MY SON IN NEVADA FOR A MONTH,OTHERWISE I WOULD BE IN ATTENDANCE. I SPOKE TO BILLY 4 WEEKS AGO. PAST TENNIS HISTORY. MY SINCERE CONDOLANCES
