Robert Durand Obituary
In New Haven September 19, 2017 Robert L. Durand, 90, of New Haven. Loving father of Steven T. Durand of Branford, Paul F. Durand (Dawn) of Ft. Monroe, VA, Susan E. Salemma (Nicholas) of East Haven and Anita M. Mastrantonio (Joseph) of Hamden. Also survived by his cherished grandchildren Steve, Robert, Michael, Christopher, Nichole, Jason, Paula, Vinny, Andrea, Sabrina, Steffanie and 13 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son Robert L. Durand and a sister Elizabeth Lombardi. Robert was born in Derby on September 17, 1927 son of the late Ernest and Evelyn O'Connor Heisser. He proudly served his country during WWII with the US Navy. He was an avid lifelong NY Yankee fan.
Calling hours will be Friday from 5 - 8 p.m. in Sisk Brothers Funeral Home 3105 Whitney Ave. Hamden. Burial will be private at All Saints Cemetery. To leave an online condolence please visit www.siskbrothers.com
