Dear Minna,
David was a wonderful colleague on our Columbia of Visitors. Always thoughtful and engaged but gentle amd most gentlemanly.
We were looking forward to more lunches on Montauk Harbor with you both.
David will be missed by both of us.

Dear Minna,
It is with enormous sorrow that I write to express my condolences on David's passing. We will miss him and his good cheer terribly. He has been such a good neighbor, concert goer and beach buddy that it seems unthinkable that he is gone. Gino joins me in expressing our deepest sympathy. If there is anything we can do, please let us know. --

Dear Minna and family,
Even on the basis of our brief acquaintance through ICHE, Minna, I can tell that you and David would have shared many vibrant intellectual and sentimental attachments. I am so sorry for your loss.
