ERNEST FERRARO Obituary

FERRARO--Ernest. Devoted and loving husband and father, died March 23, 2010, of spinal meningitis at age 44. Son of Ernest and Beatrice Imperato Ferraro of Irvington, NY, Ernie was a graduate of Irvington High School (1983), Villanova University (1987) and Fordham University School of Law (1993). He was a founding partner of the Ferraro & Wyatt law firm of New York City. Ernie's passion for learning led him to many diverse arenas. He was an avid snowboarder, mountain biker and tri-athlete. He became an accomplished woodworker, a technology and gadget "guru", an enthusiastic chef, and the family's general "go-to guy". His passion for life, his good humor, and his deep commitment to his family will be forever missed. In addition to his wife, Sharon, and his three children; Olivia, ten, Nicholas, six, and Andrew, two; he is survived by his parents and his sister and brother-in-law, Christine and Jim Eckler. Services were held on March 26th at Rye Presbyterian Church in Rye, NY. Donations may be made to the Ferraro Family Education Trust, c/o Sharon Ferraro, P.O. Box 835, Harrison, NY, 10528.
