WILLIAM TURNER Obituary
WILLIAM RUSSELL, 103 of Ardmore, on May 20, 2015 at home. Beloved husband of Patricia (nee Nelson), and the late Miriam (nee Toewe); loving father of Nancy Sample, Christine Turner, and Susan Tiegs, and three stepchildren, Charles Turner, Thomas Turner, and Julia Kubacki. He is survived by fifteen grand-children and nine great-grand-children. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Interment private. Contributions to his memory can be made to the Grand Lodge of Pennsyl-vania (Masonic Charities), 1 N. Broad St., Phila., PA 19107.

Bill was trading Internet stocks and options on his home computer when Erin and I moved in next door in 2000. He was 88 at the time - showing no signs of slowing down. In 2002, I was laid-off from my job after the Internet bubble burst. Bill told me that he got laid-off before - IN 1929! He was sharp as a tack, but complained mildly in the past few years that his body "only had a 90-year warranty." What a life. What a fun character. He will be missed.
