IRWIN COHEN Obituary
IRWIN
On Nov. 19, 2018. Age 89, passed away peacefully at his home. He was the beloved husband of Ruth (nee Berkowitz); and father of Jodi (Robert) Costin, Abbi Cohen (Thomas O'Connell) and Andrew (Debbie) Cohen; loving grandfather of Jamie and Daniel O'Connell, and Josh and Wade Cohen. Beloved brother of Arnold (Celeste) Cohen and Marlene (Bob) Waage; and beloved uncle to Joyce (Milton) Cross and Steven (Eiko) Berkowitz; and great nephews and nieces. Irwin never met a person he didn't like and once a friend you were a friend for life. Relatives and friends are invited to Funeral Service Wed. Nov. 21st 11 A.M. precisely GOLDSTEINS' ROSENBERG'S RAPHAEL SACKS, 6410 N. Broad St. Int. Montefiore Cem., 600 Church Rd., Jenkintown PA. In lieu of flowers contributions in his memory may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. There will be no shiva observed.

Uncle Irv,
You are one of the sweetest and most generous people I've ever met. Even when things got tough, you always had a smile on your face and made us laugh. You were one of my favorite friends at the beach and like family to my parents. From the moment I met Irv, we connected, Love of family, people and sports. I am a better person for sharing my friendship with Irv and Ruth. Irv will be missed by lots of friends, me being one of them. I am so glad that I was able to spend a few hours with him on Sunday. Irv, you will always be in my heart. Rest in Peace my friend...

Our very sincere condolences to our neighbor Ruth and the rest of the family on the loss of her beloved Irv. Their love and devotion for each other was apparent and throughout whatever health challenges they faced, somehow, they always remained positive and upbeat. What an inspiration for us all. They are the "best" neighbors and Irv will be sadly missed.
