Of Pittsburgh, age 79, on Friday March 24, 2006; beloved husband of Elsie (Schenck) Drab; loving father of Bernie (Joann) Drab; loving grandfather of Jaclynn, Christine and Natalie Jo; brother of the late Sr. Catherine Drab, Mother Superior Anselma; Fr. Daniel Drab O.S.F., Anthony and Tommy Drab. Friends will be received Saturday 7-9 and Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the BOCK FUNERAL HOME LTD., 1500 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw. Mass of Christian Burial in All Saints Church, Etna on Monday at 10 am. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mt. Assisi Home for the Aged, 946 Forest Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15202.

Dear Elsie and Family: Bernie was a wonderful, handsome and caring man. I will always remember all the parties at Grandma Drab's house and how much Veronica always talked so much about Bernie and Elsie, she loved you both so much. I will remember Bernie's beautiful smile and his wonderful personality and how he was just so nice to everyone he met. Our deepest sympathy to you Elsie and your family. I was with Bernie at natl grd campin Bethany Bch DE in1953 He was a great friend and mentor to a green kid from Glassport I know he was a great dad and grandfather. My deepest sympathy to his family.

Elsie and Family,

So sorry to hear of Bernie's death. We are in Florida at this time so we will not be able to visit with you but please accept our sincere condolences. Bernie was a wonderful person who loved his family and everyone he came in contact with was blessed by his sunny disposition. Best wishes to all of you.
