MARY CHOPP Obituary
Age 88, of Port Vue, formerly of Swissvale, went to Heaven peacefully on Thursday, January 15, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. Daughter of the late Frank and Carmella Mediate; beloved wife of the late Albert W. Chopp; loving mother of Carmella Ofchinick (Richard); dear grandmother of Richard (Holly), Shawn (Christi), Brian, Autumn Ofchinick; great- grandmother of Haley, Devin, Hanna, Taylor, Dylan and the late Riley; sister of Bruno (Carmella), Joseph (Cindy), Dominic (Moe), Paul, Katherine Zemelduck and the late Tony. Mary served in Madonna del Castello Church for many years cooking for several priests and teaching CCD. She was also employed at McCloy Awnings for over 40 years. Mary enjoyed life and spending time with her family. Friends received Monday 2-8 p.m. at the THOMAS L. NIED FUNERAL HOME, INC., 7441 Washington St., Swissvale. Mass of Christian Burial in Madonna del Castello Church Tuesday 11 a.m.
