Denise, Mike & Kelly,
Keeping you close in thought this time of year. Continue to surround yourselves with friends and family who will always warm your heart. May you find a moment to smile and laugh, thinking of one of the many great memories you have as a family. May you find comfort knowing that others care and continue to think of you each day.
love, Amber

To Paul's Family,

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I've crossed paths with Paul at the soccer coaches' meetings and the few times our soccer teams played each other. The last time we played was on May 10th at Round Hill Field in Elizabeth Twp. Our teams played a great game and I feel the quality of Paul's team was reflective of the type of person he was. We were joking about various plays and talking about the upcoming tournament at Edinboro that we both looked forward to. I learned that Paul had passed away just today as I was about to email him about the tournament schedule we just received. Please know that you have my deepest sympathy and I hope his team continues on because I'm sure that's what he would expect from them. Prayers are with you.

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Denise,
My heart goes out to Mike, Kelly and you. I pray God gives you strength, guidance and joy during the days to come. It's not going to be easy without Paul, but the memories and good times you had will help. Time and God's grace is what will help you to endure. Lean on Him and then lean on family and friends to aid you during these dark moments. Plenty of people love you and are willing to help. Let them. May God continue to bless and give you peace.

Denise and Family,

In times like this, we are often told to think of the good times, and the moments that we treasured. For there will be a song, or a smell, a sound, that will trigger, a moment of greatest, that in the present time, we didn't realize was a great moment. For those are the moments that we will always have, and that no one is able to take away. For all of you, we wish, the moments and the memories to come with ease, and a smile. For the times that you fear will be unbearable, we wish, you to find the strenght to lean on the good times, and grasp them will all your might to get you through... time will not ease the pain that you are experiencing, or the sadness, but rememeber he has made small footprints on your hearts, he will be with you for the decisions that you make, the times you find impossible, and the glorious times you have yet to have in the future.

Denise and family, I was saddened to see this news and offer my condolences to you and your children. I haven't seen Paul for many years but remember him when he worked at Harry's in Homestead. He was always so helpful when it came to picking out clothes for my very tall husband. May God especially bless you all during this difficult time. With Sincere Sympathy.

Denise, Mike and Kelly,
We have considered you as our extented family since the day we bought the house next door to you 14 years ago. We can remember that day like it was yesterday. How Mike was hiding behind Paul and Ricky hiding behind Rich. Paul and Rich have been friends since that day. We have so many wonderful memories of raising our kids together, going on vacation, just sitting in the back yard listening to Paul tell his stories and calling him "the Mayor of Munhall". He will be missed by many, especially by us. We will cherish the memories we have made and look forward to the future memories we will make together.
You have our deepest sympathy and love.

Love,
Rich, JoAnn, Jessica and Rick

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Dear Cullen Family,

I worked with Paul while he was assigned to PPG Industries, and wanted to send my condolences.

I think so very highly of Paul (both professionally and personally) and can not imagine the loss that's in your hearts.

When he talked about his family, there was no doubt that you were his world.

I hope that you feel his and God's love and comfort.

Although I have not had many recent memories of Paul, my childhood is filled with thoughts of our lives together as the "kids" that our parents took to every Cullen/O'Rourke activitiy.
